Morehouse School Crèche offers safe and secure child care at all times for babies and toddlers aged between 3 months and 18 months. It is, without doubt, a “Home Away From Home” which aims to provide professional childcare service of the highest quality. To promote this, we take great care in employing responsible, conscientious and committed staff. Close personal attention to each child is essential to providing a quality experience for all children. We ensure each child has the proper supervision while in our care. The goals of the crèche are dual-sided: to help parents feel good about the care of their children, and to make it a safe and fun experience for the child. We are constantly re-evaluating the Crèche, upgrading facilities and making changes for the better.
Recognising the need for quality care for babies and toddlers, we have made a priority of our Crèche. The Crèche is a self-contained well ventilated clean unit with a very cosy and homely atmosphere.
At 18 months, the toddlers make a transition to Kindergarten One where their day is more active. In Kindergarten One, they receive a gentle introduction to learning and are encouraged to develop skills such as feeding themselves at table. They begin to enjoy creative activities e.g. drawing, colouring, scribbling, etc. They are regular visitors to our kindergarten/nursery playroom for free play.
Interested parents of pupils in Kindergarten, Nursery and Primary may also keep their children in the Crèche after school hours.
